Archiving hides inactive chats without losing their history. Archived chats:
- Don't appear in your main chat list
- Still show up in search
- Are grayed out
- Keep all their messages and files
- Can be restored at any time
Archiving comes in handy for project chats once the project wraps up, seasonal discussions or temporary working groups. A new message in an archived chat automatically restores it from the archive.
