A badge tells you there are unread messages. Pachca has a few types of badges:
- Red with a number: how many unread messages you have
- Red dot: there's new activity, but no mentions
- Gray: the chat is muted, but there are new messages
Badges appear on the chat icon, in the sidebar and on the app icon. To clear a badge, open the chat and read the messages, or mark everything as read.
