How an education company moved off Telegram and kept every workflow intact

Hi! I'm Rodion, CTO of EDPRO, a digital academy for continuing education. Over the past few years, more than 9,000 specialists have graduated from our programs in nutrition, psychology, sexology, interior design and coaching. And we keep growing! For example, we recently partnered with Sechenov University.
Life before Pachca
We used to communicate mostly in Telegram. That worked at first, but over time the line between personal and work conversations started to blur. The company grew, new people joined, and we kept creating more chats and reports.
In December 2023, we had to start thinking about moving to a single platform for all our communication. Slack felt too complicated, and right after that we came across Pachca. A month later, we decided to make the switch.
The moment we knew Pachca was the one
Beyond the modern design and pleasant interface, it mattered to us that we wouldn't need a VPN to work. Pachca is a Russian product, and that's why we chose it. Cross-platform support and a broad feature set also played a big role. We especially liked cross-chat threads, which made a lot of discussions much easier.
How Pachca changed the way we communicate
We had a huge number of chats, and half of them had just 3 or 4 people in them. When we moved to Pachca, we got rid of the ones we didn't need and replaced them with threads. Now every discussion moves much faster and more smoothly, and we have 70% fewer chats. For us, Pachca is all about efficiency.
Tips for making the switch
Whatever you do, don't move from another team chat app without a chat structure ready to go! It's better to sketch a template in advance, for example in Miro or Unidraw. That way, when people change roles or processes shift, you avoid chaos and stay focused on the tasks that really matter.
