Call transcription

Call transcription turns what people say in a video call into text. When the call ends, Pachca posts to the thread under the call message:

• An AI summary: a short recap of the meeting covering what was discussed, what was decided and which tasks were planned
• The full transcript of the conversation

In chats and channels, transcription turns on automatically at the start of every call. In one-on-one calls, you start it manually from the call menu. You can set up auto-start and the summary prompt in the chat with Set up AI summary. A group video call moderator can stop participants from turning on transcription.

The feature is rolling out as a public beta and is being turned on for workspaces gradually.
