A video call moderator is a participant who helps run a group call and keep things in order. A moderator can:
- Mute or turn off the camera for one participant or everyone at once
- Ask a participant to turn on their mic or camera
- Stop a screen share or allow only certain participants to share
- Lower raised hands
- Stop participants from starting a recording
- Stop participants from turning on call transcription
- Appoint co-moderators and share control with them
A call can have up to 10 moderators. There's no moderation in one-on-one video calls, and Guests and Multi-guests can't be made moderators.
