Human-AI team

A human-AI team is a team where AI agents work alongside employees. The agent doesn't live in a separate window: it joins the same discussions, picks up tasks and reports back where people already work. Don't confuse it with hybrid work, which is about mixing office and remote days. A human-AI team is about who's on the team.

How the work usually splits:

• Agents handle the routine: tasks from chats, discussion recaps, answers from the knowledge base, reports
• People set tasks, make decisions, review results and own anything that needs accountability
• The thread holds the shared context, so you can always see what a person did and what the agent did

In Pachca, you connect an agent as a bot with its own name and avatar, and its messages are signed with that name. Your team @mentions the agent in a thread like any teammate. With cross-chat threads, you can loop in someone from another department, and they'll see the whole history, including the agent's work. Administrators decide who can connect agents in the workspace settings.
