A private chat is a chat or channel with restricted access. Key traits:
- It doesn't appear in chat search
- You can join by invitation only
- Members can't see who else is in the workspace
- New members can't see history from before they were added
It's a good fit for confidential projects, HR discussions, partner negotiations and work with sensitive data.
