How a leading SaaS provider for the hospitality industry moved to Pachca

Hi! I head the IT infrastructure department at Bnovo. We've been around for 13 years and are a leading software developer for the hospitality industry. Today, more than 16,000 properties in 40 countries trust us: hotels, hostels, apartments, glamping sites and more.
Life before Pachca
We used Discord for internal communication, but for security reasons we planned to move to Russian software eventually. For everything else, we relied on Google services. In spring 2024, we joined the Smartway group of companies and immediately started moving to Russian software.
We picked a bundled offer from a well-known ecosystem. It included a team chat app, but it felt too basic and didn't have enough features for day-to-day communication. So we started looking for something new and landed on Pachca.
The moment we knew we wanted to stay
We knew we wanted to stay after just 2-3 days of testing on the free plan. Pachca's core features covered everything we needed. We especially liked managing employees with tags and the open API. We have a big team, and tags plus the API let us automate adding people to chats. That's far more efficient than adding everyone by hand.
How Pachca changed the way we communicate
Our team is young, so switching over from Discord was easy. Communication stayed just as good as before. But our organizational processes got simpler. We're growing fast, so quick and easy sign-up and adding people to the workspace and chats really help.
We also set up an integration with Yandex Tracker for notifications. We plan to add more bots down the road.
Tips for making the switch
Don't be afraid to move to a new team chat app, but plan and prepare your whole setup in advance. If your company has lots of employees, organize them with tags: teams, departments, roles, projects and more.
