About the company

I'm Ilya, director of Ridex, BUNGLY's IT partner. BUNGLY has been making children's clothing since 2016 and recently launched a women's clothing line. Every year, we design more than 500 styles and produce 550,000 garments.

Life before Pachca

Our work communication used to be scattered. Marketing and production talked in Telegram, support used WhatsApp*, and the team chat in Bitrix quickly turned into chaos. There were way too many chats. Finding the right one was hard, so people kept creating duplicates. The same topics ended up being discussed in several places, information got lost and managing communication kept getting harder.

At first, we tried moving to Discord and worked there for about six months. But in fall 2024, access to it was blocked in Russia. We analyzed the team chat app market and decided to move to Pachca.

The moment we knew we wanted to stay

At the time, we needed to organize the migration fast, and Pachca had the tools for it. A few other things stood out to us: the app wasn't part of a big ecosystem, and the whole team was focused on building just this product. Every feature we needed was there from day one: an open API for automations, tools for organizing chats and calls. We also liked that the product roadmap is public and updates ship fast.

How Pachca changed the way we communicate

After switching to Pachca, we were able to organize our communication much better. We now have topic-based channels: "Bungly News" for important company announcements, "Pachca Tips" for learning about useful features, and Q&A chats for internal support.

We also built lots of automations with bots. For example, when someone submits a request on the internal support portal, a bot immediately notifies the employee in Pachca about the request status, names the person in charge and asks for a rating once the request is closed.

To manage employees, we rely heavily on tags: people are automatically added to the right chats based on their department. That saves a ton of manual work and helps new hires get up to speed faster. Personally, I also like message formatting, pinning important chats and drafts. I often start writing a message, get distracted and come back to finish it later.

Tips for making the switch

To make the move smooth, prepare your team. We wrote a guide, ran a webinar on Pachca's features, created a chat for questions and shared links to the Help Center. There were lots of questions in the first few days, but the team adapted quickly.

We also automated moving users over: we migrated employees through the API, and every new hire is created in Pachca right away with the right tags. If you have a big team, we recommend testing this process on a small group first.
