Reminders and search are the top 2 tools for getting things done. They help you remember your meetings and quickly find a teammate or the chat you need in Pachca. Here are some handy features you might not know about.
You used to be able to set a reminder's notification time in 30-minute steps. Now you can set a task's due time down to the minute. Just use the arrows when picking the time.
Workspace Owners and Administrators can add any fields to a member's profile card. In Members, click Settings, then Add field and choose the type of value the field will store. The same way, you can set up the task card template in the Reminders tab.
Here's a trick we came up with ourselves. One person on our team congratulates teammates on their birthdays, and everyone else joins in the comments. So we don't forget, we add all the birthdays to our reminders. As soon as a reminder goes off, we move it a year ahead. That way, no one's birthday slips through the cracks)
In chats and global search, you can find a message by emoji. This comes in handy if you use emoji to tag messages or run team polls, or if a teammate has a favorite emoji they use a lot.
The search bar helps you find any message sent in your chats. Just type a word, and Pachca shows every message that contains it. You can also find any member or chat in your workspace. To jump to search quickly, press ⌘+K or CTRL+K.
- Search within a chat
In chats, you can search for links, attachments and pinned messages. Even without typing a search query, filters help you separate the type of messages you need from everything else, so it's easier to find the information you're looking for. To search a chat, click the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the chat.
